Anastasia Andreani, LE, CLSO
Founder, President and Director of Education
Anastasia Andreani is a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Laser Safety Officer, educator, entrepreneur, and aesthetics industry leader with a bachelor's degree in business and more than 20 years of experience in medical aesthetics, professional skincare, laser safety, infection-control education, beauty education, and vocational training.
Her professional background combines business education, professional esthetics training, hands-on medical spa experience, and more than 15 years of leadership in online professional education.
Esthetics Education and Professional Credentials
Originally from Chicago, Anastasia began her career as a freelance makeup artist before completing her professional esthetics education at Pivot Point.
She earned a bachelor's degree in business and continued her professional development through esthetician licensing, advanced aesthetics education, professional certifications, and Laser Safety Officer training.
Her education in business, esthetics, professional beauty, and workplace safety has shaped her approach to developing structured, practical, and career-focused training programs.
Medical Aesthetics Experience Under Physician Leadership
Before establishing her online education academies, Anastasia spent many years working at Sofia's Med Spa and Beauty Oasis.
During that time, she worked directly alongside Dr. Sophie Simeakis-Borrelli, the practice's owner, medical director, and master injector. Dr. Sophie's professional background includes more than 35 years of experience in medicine, including emergency medicine, trauma care, laser aesthetics, injectable treatments, professional skincare, anti-aging services, and aesthetic medicine.
Working within a physician-led medical spa gave Anastasia firsthand experience with the professional responsibilities, safety standards, and operational procedures involved in a clinical aesthetics environment.
Her experience included professional skincare, client consultations, treatment preparation, infection-control procedures, laser safety practices, client care, clinical communication, and the daily operation of a medical aesthetics practice.
This environment also gave Anastasia the opportunity to collaborate directly with physicians, medical professionals, estheticians, and administrative teams while maintaining a strong focus on client safety, responsible practices, and professional standards.
Laser Safety and Infection-Control Leadership
As a Certified Laser Safety Officer, Anastasia brings a safety-focused perspective to the educational programs offered through AML Laser Academy.
Her work includes helping guide education related to laser safety responsibilities, treatment-room procedures, protective eyewear, hazard awareness, infection prevention, bloodborne pathogens, workplace documentation, and responsible operational practices.
She works closely with AML Laser Academy’s medical director, physician reviewers, and instructional team to support training that reflects professional safety guidance and the practical realities of aesthetic and medical spa environments.
Her educational approach emphasizes that cosmetic laser training should include more than learning how a device operates. Students must also understand client screening, risk awareness, infection control, treatment-room safety, workplace responsibilities, and applicable professional requirements.
From Clinical Aesthetics to Professional Beauty Education
Anastasia's experience in makeup artistry, esthetics, medical spa operations, business, and student education shaped her vision for a more accessible approach to professional training.
That vision led to the creation of Vizio Makeup Academy, which she co-founded in 2014. The academy was developed to give aspiring makeup artists access to structured, career-focused beauty education regardless of their location or schedule.
Through Vizio Makeup Academy, Anastasia has helped expand access to professional makeup training for adult learners and high school students, including students attending more than 20 charter schools throughout California.
The academy has trained thousands of students across more than 80 countries, creating an international community of aspiring and working beauty professionals.
Vizio Makeup Academy's curriculum includes foundational makeup techniques, advanced artistry, bridal makeup, hairstyling, special effects makeup, and career-focused professional training.
Expanding Into Facial Aesthetics and Cosmetic Laser Education
Anastasia later expanded her educational mission through ASFA Facial Academy and AML Laser Academy.
ASFA Facial Academy provides professional education in skincare, facial treatments, aesthetic techniques, safety, and client care.
AML Laser Academy extends that mission into cosmetic laser education, laser safety, infection control, and medical aesthetics training.
Together, the academies provide flexible professional education for estheticians, nurses, medical professionals, beauty professionals, high school students, adult learners, and individuals pursuing new career opportunities.
Leadership at AML Laser Academy
At AML Laser Academy, Anastasia helps oversee course development, educational quality, student experience, laser safety education, infection-control training, and operational standards.
She works alongside the academy's medical director, physicians, and instructional professionals to help ensure that course content is clearly presented, professionally relevant, and grounded in responsible safety practices.
Her experience in medical spa operations, esthetics, professional skincare, laser safety, business leadership, and online education helps guide AML Laser Academy's approach to training aesthetic and medical professionals.
Anastasia also reviews the student learning experience to help ensure that technical subjects are explained clearly and supported by practical examples drawn from real aesthetic and medical spa environments.
Innovation in Professional Beauty Education
Anastasia's work has also included the development of professional beauty products, educational tools, and training systems designed to support practical learning.
Her work reflects an ongoing interest in combining professional education, thoughtful design, technology, artistry, sustainability, and practical student support.
Industry and Community Involvement
Anastasia has contributed her professional experience as a judge for beauty industry events and live artistry competitions, including events connected with Halloween and Mehron.
Her community involvement has included supporting cancer awareness through Marbella on a Mission, as well as mental health awareness, women's empowerment, and educational opportunities for students facing financial barriers.
She also supports academy scholarships and educational grants designed to make career-focused training more accessible.
Commitment to Accessible and Responsible Professional Training
For more than 15 years, Anastasia has remained committed to making beauty education, medical aesthetics education, and professional training more accessible.
Her mission is to help students develop practical skills, understand professional safety responsibilities, build confidence, and pursue meaningful career opportunities within the beauty, skincare, and medical aesthetics industries.
She believes education should provide more than technical information or a certificate. It should give students the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to create a stronger professional future.
