Build Knowledge Without Leaving Las Vegas
AML Laser Academy delivers comprehensive online laser education to doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advanced estheticians, laser professionals, med-spa owners, aesthetic teams, and other licensed medical professionals throughout Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.
Las Vegas is a major destination for hospitality, conventions, entertainment, wellness, and high-touch client experiences. Patients and clients continually seek treatments for unwanted hair, aging skin, pigmentation, tattoos, texture concerns, and overall skin rejuvenation. Medical spas, aesthetic clinics, wellness centers, and cosmetic practices are responding by expanding treatment menus and investing in advanced technology.
For professionals, that creates opportunity—but owning a machine or watching a short demonstration is not enough. Successful services require a clear understanding of laser physics, light-based technology, skin anatomy, Fitzpatrick skin typing, target chromophores, client assessment, contraindications, treatment planning, pre- and post-treatment care, protective eyewear, documentation, and professional responsibility.

Technology and Treatment Science
Professional laser education is about more than learning where to press a button.
Different devices interact with tissue in different ways. Wavelength, pulse duration, fluence, spot size, cooling, skin type, target chromophore, treatment area, and client history can all influence treatment planning and risk.
Designed for Las Vegas Life
Las Vegas does not operate on a traditional schedule. Doctors, nurses, med-spa teams, resort professionals, salon owners, and aesthetic providers may work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or rotating shifts.
AML’s online format allows you to build professional knowledge without reorganizing your entire life. Study before the clinic opens, complete lessons between appointments, review safety material during staff development, learn after work, replay technical sections before a team discussion, or return to the course when your practice adds new technology.
Complete coursework from Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Enterprise, Green Valley, or anywhere with reliable internet access. AML is an online academy, so you do not need to attend a physical AML campus or travel to another state to access the curriculum.

Nevada divides responsibility among several agencies rather than placing every cosmetic laser and medical-aesthetics question under one board.
The Nevada State Board of Cosmetology regulates esthetics, advanced-esthetics licensing, cosmetological establishments, collaboration documents, and the scope assigned to advanced estheticians. Nevada law authorizes an advanced esthetician to perform qualifying nonablative esthetic medical procedures only within the state credential and supervision framework. The required collaboration agreement must be submitted to and approved by the Board before those procedures are performed.
The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners separately regulates physicians and physician assistants, while the Nevada State Board of Nursing regulates nurses. Professionals should verify their individual license, professional scope, employer requirements, supervision arrangements, practical competency, and device-specific preparation before participating in a procedure.
A Las Vegas clinic or medical spa should evaluate state professional licensing together with local business requirements. The City of Las Vegas instructs applicants to confirm that a proposed location has proper zoning and an appropriate Certificate of Occupancy before finalizing a lease or purchasing a building. Businesses outside city limits may fall under Clark County or another local jurisdiction instead.
AML Laser Academy provides private online education. Course completion does not replace a Nevada license, Board-required school hours, examinations, hands-on practical education, supervised procedures, an approved collaboration agreement, establishment authorization, employer competency review, or manufacturer training.
